On 13rd November, the Palanquin of Baba Kedarnath depart for Ukhimath, A winter place of Baba Kedarnath ji where worshiped performed for the next 6 month. on the same day the Palanquin of Baba Kedarnath stay in Gurikund or Rampur (according to time). Next day lord Kedarnath Doli will stay in a holy place, Guptakashi, where Shiva to escape from Pandavas. and the next day Lord Shiva palanquin will stay in Ukhimath for the next 6 month.
From 2015, Government of Uttarakhand initiated "The Wintering Char Dham Yatra" so that devotee can Darshan of Lord Shiva Doli in winter season also.
